Photo Walks at Work

I’m walking a good bit more than I have in a while and it’s all in downtown Richmond. I walk a few blocks coming in from where I park and have the chance to walk around the campus some as well. I find myself parking farther away and taking some slightly roundabout paths coming to and from the car. This is one of those unforeseen advantages but one I’m enjoying.

The Flick set from these wanderings is linked above.

Keep in mind you could still join us at VCU as we have an Innovative Learning Media Specialist Position open.

  1. I only spent part of a day at VCU last month, but I thoroughly enjoyed its setting in the city– so often university campuses are up on a hill or away from the public; but VCU seems integrated into Richmond. And I can totally relate to the amount of things that appealed to the camera eye (especially the murals).

Your new job is great for my blog reading, I would say you are on fire, but I think you are just getting warm.

    1. Next time you come around, we’ll have to head out and see what we can photograph. I really want to go to Hollywood Cemetery but have never made the time. It’s just down the road now.

I cannot tell you how wonderful it feels to be at this job. I wake up happy to go do things and it seems to make a considerable difference in my output. I will make sure it lasts.
