I liked this guy quite a bit and he was more than happy to pose for the picture. He even switched the newspaper around so it’d be visible without any prompting from me.Not that I ever really say anything to the stranger portrait participants in terms of posing. Another stranger portrait from the public park near where I work. I like patterns. This particular shot also has colors that I like. This felt more like a movie set than real life to me. It seemed too perfectly arranged. Another stranger portrait of some gentlemen warming up to do a dragon dance. I love coming across odd things like this. Yet another stranger portrait. I’m at 64 out of the 100 but it has taken a long time.
The flowers are starting to come out. It’s going to be harder to stop walking around in the mornings. This is at 821 Cafe which has had the skeleton on the window since at least Halloween but the internal skull image is new. They rotate a lot of local artists’ work through there. Many of the places I used to park to vary my walking path to work are now 2hr parking or paid parking. I’ve also fallen prey to the belief that I need to hurry into work and get things done. Both those developments have hurt my photography patterns. This post was brought about by doing a few different things. Some of the shots are from walking from our building to the medical campus down Broad Street. That is always full of interesting things and people. A big chunk came from going to Field Day of the Past which is something like a carnival mixed with a historical site crossed with a swap meet. It brings any number of societal issues to the forefront via giant flags. I hate being at carnivals but like taking pictures at them.I also contain other contradictions. Stop hassling me. The insect macros are courtesy of some succulent that brings all the bees to the yard. That’s right. It’s better than yours. (I like that she’s a chef now.) I’d tell you what it is but I’d have to charge. There are usually […]
