There was a cricket game going on next to the soccer game. I don’t really know the rules, but it’s visually pretty dramatic. I liked the combination of white uniforms and the white fence.
Riverrock was going on this weekend and my oldest (John) was photographing the bouldering competitions so I hung out for a lot of hours and took a lot of pictures. I pretty much only used the 150-600mm zoom. That limited my options to some degree. I really miss having VCU’s 85mm for things like this. John used the 28-300 and he did great things with it.
I took a lot of dog pictures.
I never got the color right, but I really liked the shadow on this one.
Your photos are so awesome, that one of the vulture just hanging out is a symbol, right?
There’s a crazy place around here that had flocks and flocks of the vultures. I don’t know if it’s a sign, an omen, a symbol, or just a bird.
